Gallina Roberto winery is located in Santo Stefano, a small fraction of Valdobbiadene and has been producing excellent wines from these very hills for decades.
Our wine making tradition is handed down with the same passion of the early days, since 1870, when our great-grandfather Pietro, together with his wife Luigia, started the business.
We work on five hectares of family vineyards, mainly between the slopes of the ancient hills of Valdobbiadene, with 20% of the vines in the Cartizze area, 60% in the Valdobbiadene DOCG and the remaining 20% in the DOC area.
Over the years, the vineyards and the winery itself consolidate, giving life to a family business with strong roots, in which grandfather Giovanni and his son Pietro will also work. In 2000 the project passes to Roberto, who together with his wife Jacqueline leads the company "Gallina Roberto".
For almost 150 years and for four generations, every September, we have been harvesting our grapes by hand, on the steep slopes, selecting the best bunches to offer you the highest quality of our wines.
The doors of our cellar are always open for guests and we are enthusiastic every day to be able to tell about our business and the wines we produce with passion.
On our hills, thanks to unique soil and climatic conditions, the grapes best express their characteristics and potential, allowing us to produce high quality wines. They represent hard work, tradition and respect for the territory that has always distinguished us.
We strongly believe in sustainable agricultural practices, which allow us to guarantee a cultivation of the vine that respects the surrounding environment.
